Brake Blocks:-
Dynamo Meter Test :
Dynamo meter test is one of the most important test while dealing with brake blocks in which there were two kinds of railway wheels and their inertia and Two types of Brake Blocks were there like 1) K type brake block for Coaching Stock & 2) L type composite brake blocks for Wagons, the brake blocks are set on the dynamo meter and measuring friction, torque, brake force, temperature, time taken in applying the force, displacement, initial wheel temperature, final wheel temperature, initial block temperature and final block temperature, and generating their reports and R&D of brake blocks two times in a week.

Physical Test of BRAKE BLOCKS Like (Density, Rockwell Hardness, Cross Breaking Strength, Bending test for half and full block, shearing strength, back plate pull off test. )

Chemical Test of BRAKE BLOCKS Like (Loss Of Ignition (LOI), Acetone Extraction Test )
