Worked on novel Pressure gelation moulding process specially developed by Huntsman Ltd.
Assisted in production of Glass fiber Sheet/ Dough moulding compound compression moulding and epoxy glass laminates using hot press. Injection moulding of glass fiber compound for circuit breaker base. Testing for High Voltage Tracking Resistance (HVTR), Porosity of SMC parts

Projects
M.Sc
Modules: Manufacturing Research Techniques, Materials Engineering, Operations Management, Managing Innovation and New Product Management, Composites Manufacturing, General Management, Finite Element Analysis, Nano & Microscale Rapid Prototyping.
Individual thesis: Developed Carbon negative composite sandwich panels for construction industry asreplacement to cement, gypsum, asbestos, MDF, and other synthetic materials. Product is made from bast fibres, epoxy, and Cork and aligns to Sustainability development goals laid by UN. The materials meet Fire safety standards, improves noise cancellation, increases thermal insulation, Earthquake resistant, and 100% recyclable.
Group Project: Carbon Fibre Thermoplastic Matrix / Metal Joint Framework Manufacturing in collaboration with EPSRC Innovative Composites Manufacturing Hub.
Details:In a team of six graduates we evaluated and proposed two innovative structural designs withdifferent manufacturing routes, Joining and costings to replace the A, B, and C pillar of a sedan car. Designs meet crash standardsunder static loadings. Finite Elemental Analysis were made to optimize design. Novel production method of in-situ reactive thermoplastic pull braiding for 10,000 cars can decrease production costs compared to current solutions in market.

B.Tech
Modules: Additives of Polymers, Instrumental Analysis of Polymers, Advanced Elastomer Technology, Polymer Recycling and Waste Management, Polymer Reaction Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Testing, Physical Chemistry Of Polymers, Economics And Management, Instrumentation And Process Control, Specialty Polymers, Surface Coatings, Polymer Processing Technology, Polymer Nano-Composites, Mould and Product design, Polymer Rheology and Morphology.
Project: Development of novel intrinsic Self-Healing properties in Composite materials.
Results: Challenges in current technologies were identified. Coupon size samples were tested by embedding low melting point alloys. Initial proof of concept given. The findings were presented at 3 National level conferences.

Diploma
Core Modules: Technology of Plastics, Advanced Hydraulics Pneumatics and Systems Control, Plastics Plant Equipment’s, Production Management, Plastics Product Design and Testing, Processing of Plastics, Plastics Waste Disposal Management, Polymer Composites Blends & Alloys, Elastomer Technology, Metrology, and Quality Control.
Group Project: In a team of four students we delivered 3 table top projects and live demonstrations within 5 months. Designed and manufactured a 2D automatic filament winding machine using self-reversing screw mechanism, demonstrated recycling of Aseptic packaging (Tetra PAK) and 2ltr PET bottles to make natural light bulbs mainly for slum dwellers.
