Process improvements
Performed cycle time reduction in Metal forming process, it increase the productivity from 400parts to 436 parts per shift.
Developed sliding bucket in Metal forming process to collect ejected disc part. It avoids the part where stuck in conveyor during process which increases OEE 76% to 88%.
Developed scrap procedure that helped to reduce the scrap significantly.
Significantly improved safety by the implementation of Proximity sensor in front of press shop operation to prevent an accident to the operator.

Handle on "Daily work Management”.
Independently handling overall shift activities of the shop floor and accountable for proper utilization of man, machine & material.
Maintain & update report for Daily Production / Shift Report etc.
Update SAP regularly and accurately (as required).
Oversee the production process as per the quality standards, to achieve a first-time pass through a quality check.
Improve productivity – work time study (Layout, workflow, cycle time and OEE).
Controlling minimum inventory on the shop floor as stock material.
Ensure adherence to the preventive and predictive maintenance schedule.
Monitor and control environment standards such as spillage, leakages, water pollution in control.
Provides manufacturing decision making information by calculating production, labor, resource and inventory; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
Production Quality
Ensure adherence to the prescribed Quality norms and Standard.
Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ Rejection/throwback.
Monitoring of KPI´s regarding PPM and production performance together with the Quality and production department.
Knowledge in DMAIC, PDCA, PFMEA, Stop to Fix, MUDA hunting, TPM initiatives.

The Extrusion process, the Rubber compounds are arranged according to production planning. It eliminates excess motions in the shop floor.
Developed Testing rubber compounds before production starting up.
Improved loading and unloading process in vulcanization by extending crane beam.
Improved OEE in extrusion operation from 69% to 75%.
Implemented a measurement system for the measuring mandrel length in the welding process to avoid excess material.
Performed new nylon mandrel trails which give a significant improvement in mandrel extraction process.
Significantly improved scrap procedure where arranging scrap bin separate for each compound.
Implemented the rail for an arrangement of drums for the next operation which avoids excessive motion and improved 5S system.
