Job Description:
Responsible for overall managing production function as it applies to process.
Achieving daily production indicator goals (yield, productivity, and effectiveness) and assisting with developing an action plan when desired targets.
Accountable for adhering to all company policies and procedures (Process Control, CPT, Setup Sheet, Verification, etc) Provide all necessary training and support on CPT systems / equipment, New / Transfer tooling packages, workcells, automation, etc.
Communicate and assist Inspector / Packers and Operators in achieving daily goals / targets when necessary.
Inspect and control daily mold changes, color changes, and machine processing as needed to achieve desired results while following and maintaining established policies / procedures.
Communicate daily with support groups (Production Planning, Customer Service, Maintenance, Tool Room, etc.) to achieve overall plant / production related goals / targets.
Responsible for assisting the Quality Department in determining root cause and corrective action for internal / external reject issues as assigned by the Material Review Board. Provide all necessary documentation to root cause and corrective actions.
Monitor and review all tooling, machinery, and auxiliary equipment for proper usage, making suggestions for improvements or repairs when necessary.
Responsible for all documentation, shift paperwork, auditing, and verifications as it applies to the technical aspect of the production floor.
Ensure overall safety and housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained daily. Perform audit of usage and condition of CPT equipment assisting with issues and repairs when necessary.
Responsible for all aspects of introducing New or Transfer Tool Packages to the production floor, optimizing costs, efficiency and quality.
Review and monitor problematic jobs currently in production. Establish action plans for necessary process development, tool repairs, etc. to achieve desired results and goals.
Responsible for running all samples on New or Transfer Tools / Parts that have not been fully released into production.
Coordinating with vendors and vendor development.
Getting competitive rate, Quality and production with vendors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
