Trade Union Management:
Advise Contractors & Union Leaders to follow the proper procedures for carrying out negotiations and on the special regulations relating to employment and Wages Agreements. Try to remove any distrust by convincing the union for the company’s integrity and to maintain sincerity and honesty with all so that Suspicious, rumors and doubts should all to be put to rest.
Examine and Attempt to resolve industrial disputes and grievances in the workplace, when discussions are being held with trade unions about the effects of technological change on the duties of employees in work sites.
Adopt proactive measures to eliminate, as far as is possible and practicable, strikes, lockouts and Gheraos by providing reasonable wages and improved working conditions. Successfully handled Strikes / Gheraos no of times independently with the help of pressure groups like local influencing people, police and administration, politician, conciliation authority, etc. Negotiating and amicably settling disputes with the union and maintaining discipline & harmonious working environment through Working Committee.
Maintain good relationships with Trade Union Leaders. 
Conduct negotiations on rates of pay and conditions of employment of contractors’ Workmen
CONTRACT LABOUR MANAGEMENT:
Implementation of system for accountability & monitoring of contract labour deployment. 
Efforts to reduce contract labour deployment strength. 
Monitoring wage disbursement and protecting labour from unfair practice.
Regular interaction with contract labour at various platforms like training programme, counseling, culture programme etc. 

Legal Activities:
Compliances related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and Factories Act.
Laisoning with Labour Office (Burdwan, W.B), Directorate of Factories (Asansol, W.B), Workmen Compensation Court (Durgapur, W.B), PF Office & Local Police Station etc.
Enquiries against old dispute/Cases and submit record to our Management. 

Strategic Hr Functions:
Recruitment & Selection:
Recruitment Plan formulation in consultation with Project Head / HODs as per the business requirements for manpower. 
Campus Recruitments for freshers from various Institutions / Colleges. 
Coordinating with Recruitment agencies, conducting interview sessions with candidates.
Preparations of salary fitments, salary negotiations, prepare offers and ensure joining..
Driving employee referral schemes.
Performing reference check and facilitating background check.

Performance Appraisal: 
Timely Submission of Performance Appraisal Form to all dept. and various project sites.
Follow up with Dept. Heads and Project In charge for timely submission of Performance Appraisal Form to HR Dept. 
Involved in Annual Increment Process for Increment Promotion.

Payroll Administration:
Managing payroll processing function involving computation of salaries, attendance, leave, fixed & variable entitlements, deductions for loans, etc.
Developing and maintaining documentation and controls for all payroll related activities and attaining approvals on consolidated salary advice.
Making final settlement, change of status forms and processing leaves.

Employees’ Exit Management:
Prepare Monthly Resignation Report Dept. wise and Project wise.
Consult with HOD for acceptance.
Conduct Exit Interview.
Give fare and honest feedback to Management for the reason of leaving.
Complete Handling Over and Releasing Formalities.
