I have a rich experience of 18+ years in dealing with Industrial Consumable products. Having started my carrier with M/s. Gargi Engineering Enterprises-Bombay {Dealer of Kirloskar Pneumatic Ltd-Pune (Spares Div.)}, placed at their Baroda office, was exclusively dealing in spares of different models of Air & Pneutimic Compressors made by Kirloskar Pneumatic Ltd- Pune. My Job involved Visiting Customers, Creating requirements, Ordering, Stock & Sales of different types of Air Compressor Spares.
Job Profile: Regional Manager. I am responsible to create new business by the route of "Product Application Development' (Technical and Marketing) which includes Industry Survey, Handling of Tenders and Enquiries, Product Recommendation, Product Approval, Application Procedure development and implementation, Development of Marketing system
1. Industrial Survey:
Preparation of list of companies in industry segments like Cement Plants, Steel Plants, Textile, Automobile Plant, Electrical Chemical, Power Plant etc. and bifurcation their requirement for M.R.O. and O.E.M. applications by
A. Plant Survey
B. Preparation of list of potential application with particular plant.
C. Product Suggestion and submission of calculation for the cost saving on product and maintenance cost.
2. Handling of Tenders and Enquires:
Includes generation of enquires by making regular visits and proper follow-up with customer. Handling of enquires and tenders which include product recommendation, product approval through technical discussion and project costing and negotiation.
3. Product Recommendation:
Recommendation of best suitable product by excessive analysis of customer problems. The analysis includes visiting of site, discussion of problem with the technical work force.
4. Product Approval:
Approving of the product recommended which includes conducting of technical presentation giving specifications, features, and references of past applications and experience. Pros and Cons of the product.
5. Application Procedure Development and Implementation:
We develop the procedure for the particular project by analyzing the site and documenting the scope, scheduling of application, surface preparation procedure mixing procedure, general product application procedure, preparing of equipment list and testing procedures (making of QAP, tests recommendation, testing of application), repair of imperfection if any, follow up of the procedures documented earlier for the application and remove discrepancies if any.
6. Periodical progressive Report:
Based on the A.B.P. a concise report showing the comparison of actual achievement against the targeted goal on monthly basis.
7. Staff Co-ordination:
Daily in touch with all sales force on e-mail and carry out open discussion on performance of the particular month and help the Sales engineers resolve specific issues which adversely affects the A.B.P. numbers.
Evaluate the tour plans of the respective Sales Engineers for the previous month and the following month. This also includes regular visits to sales engineers placed all over India to assist on technical and commercial issues to help them achieve their ABP numbers.
Presently I am also dealing with industrial Items like different types of Gaskets, Packings for different types of customers like Oil Industries, Refinery, Power Plants etc.
