Work Experience

Piping Engineer (Engineering Dept.)
Presently working with a leading company at Gujarat.
Since August 2007 till date.
Job Profile:
Engineering
Co-ordination with spoolgen department.
Preparation of Piping MTO by drawing manually.
ISO checking for proper revision process.
Preparation of Equipment Layouts per design codes; Equipment Nozzle Orientation fixing.
Preparation of piping Layouts per design codes.
U/ G, A/ G Piping.
Ensure smooth flow of spool sheets generated from IDFs.
Giving feedback regarding the details to be incorporated to comply with the support
standards and other misc. items in the spool sheet drawings.
Ensure & provide maximum clarity in the spool sheets, so that the production get indirect
support to maximize output.
Manual spooling from the Engineering Isos for the Shutdown jobs.
Receiving soft copies of Mat. File & Weld files along with the Hard copy of spool sheets and
the same was verified for duplicates.
Uploading the Mat file and weld files in to the SMS (spool management system) after
correcting the same in to the required format.
Ensuring Bill of Material in the system in line with the spool sheet enables the easy
allocation of materials to increase IR.
Ensuring Weld joints in the system in line with the spool sheets enables easy calculation of

Completing all above activities finally Engineering Release of each and every spool sheets
are entered in to the system and the status made ER.
So far 60000 spools (approx 8 lakh Inch dia) have been made ER.
Handling further clarifications from shops after IR. i.e. spools under fabrication at various
stages like fit up, welding & NDT.
