Functional Responsibilities CAD/CAM Related:-
Surface & solid modelling in Unigraphics CAD/CAM Package (based on UNIX & Windows NT operating systems) of various Pressure Die Casting (PDC) & GDC components of 2 & 3 Wheeler Cylinder Blocks, Cylinder Heads, Crankcases, Clutch Covers, Steering Columns(GDC), Brake panels, Gear Box housings, Front & Rear Wheel Hubs, Gear Shifter housings, Clutch shoes, Brake Shoes etc.(Worked on Unigraphics from UG10 version to UG-NX4) Also using Master Model concept for modelling by using various features of Unigraphics like Assemblies, Wave Geometry Linker etc.
Die faces generation of the above components giving due consideration to parting line & manufacturing requirements of the components. (By using Unigraphics CAD/CAM Package)
Tool path generation for die elements (Hot Die Steel) & their corresponding electrodes(Graphite). Also using Vericut for checking of NC path whenever required
Conversion of digitised data to surface data for mould design & modifications.
Developed part families concept of Unigraphics for standard components used in Pressure die casting die design. Having Enough awareness for UG-Mould wizards
Associative 2D-drafting of the modelled PDC components.

Using Analytical techniques like DFMEA while implementing new ideas & processes.
