Job Profile:
Conduct a detailed study of market, product performance, product life, manufacturing cost, detail study of product analysis report and perform analysis on new product pertaining to specifications on product and moulds, study various designs, do precise cost estimation for each and present to management to obtain approval on drawings after estimation of costs for each.
Start mould Designing & development of mould with respect 3D model as well as approved products drawing, consistently maintaining all standards of productivity and quality and guaranteeing minimum cost and on time delivery aiming at continuous improvement in mould design.
Approve mould design based on the quality aspects of mould and desired product an mould life cycle time, select the appropriate machinery to ensure maximum cost effectiveness and 85% utilization and set targets for manufacturing the moulds with respect to the complexity of the product.
Coordinate on selection and finalize vendors for mould construction and manufacturing based on criteria like optimal cost of manufacturing and optimal cycle time and handle vendor development.
Supervise day to day production activities, manage projects and offer technical assistance and support to production personnel to ensure that all desired targets set during finalization of order are met on a daily basis.
Monitor product prototyping, design, machining and setting of moulds during production trail run in factory.

Nature of Duty:- over all in charge of Tool Room and Design.
Develop manufacturing and designing flow chart. Distribute all respected concern member to achieve target date and reviewing every alternate date for status.
Review drawings based on criteria like cycle time, mould durability, maintenance frequency, productivity etc, finalize on drawings and obtain approval from customer and management to start manufacturing.
Set targets for manufacturing, schedule machinery, manpower and material, plan production schedules and guarantee on time delivery of finished goods in conformance with customer requirements.
Conduct product trial runs, identify possible bottlenecks and issues, plan on adequate corrective action and obtain approval from customer after showing them the trial results.
