Low pressure and Gravity die-casting auto components for OEMs like Borg-Warner, Bajaj Auto Ltd, TATA Motors, Nokia, Maruti Udyog Ltd, General Motors, Ashok Leyland, Pierburg etc. The capacity includes 40-Die casting machines from 150 to 2150 ton.
My Job Profile:-
Managing all RFQ process from feasibility to giving quotation for new components development.
Managing and responsible for Tool designing and responsible up-to submission of the new die-casting auto components with 20 work stations and 30 dedicated designers with 3 HASS machines, EDM and wire-cut machines with 40 Tool room personnel.
Liasioning with domestic as well as Global customers for development activities and responsible up-to approval of PPAP lot of components.
Responsible to Design review and release for HPDC, LPDC and GDC Al-alloy components .
Responsible to BOM / document release and control.
Responsible for design validation, ECN, ECR and ER i.e engineering release.
Responsible to design standards, drawing preparations and checking, design for manufacturing and assembly.
Responsible to time line up-to T0 trial and resource planning for the current projects.
Manage all Cad-Cam activities from Design, 3D modeling, Assembling parts and drafting to Cam generations on Unigraphics, Pro-E and Delcam softwares, it includes core-cavity separation, insert design, mold base design runner gating design with proper venting and cooling arrangement.
Responsible for reducing development cylce time, increase die life and reduce over-all die mfg cost per piece.
Responsible to do analysis on Magma simulation software for optimized design of the tool for min 1,00,000 shots.
Responsible to achieve target of Rs.3.0 crore business through design and development .
( Target set-up for development of 96 new components and 54 Repeat dies per year base 660 ton machine).

My Job Profile:-
I started my career as Jr. Engineer, operating CNC die sinking machines (Rambaudi m/c with Fidia control and having digitizing attachment) to manufacture dies and tooling. Settting the die on machine, tool selection, manual programming in G and M codes, cutting parameter setting, digitizing and inspection of die parameters.
As a Sr. Engineer I was responsible for Planning, scheduling the jobs for 30 CNC machines in 3 shifts.
