Job Profile:
Production operations, maintenance management and controlling of process parameters with the help of PLC as per production grades on Single screw, Twin screw extruder & Injection moulding machine.
Efficiently supervising and carrying out trails for running different product grades, drawing production plan, mapping requirements of raw materials/ other inputs and coordinating with materials section to ensure timely availability of materials in right quality & quantity.
Managing smooth operations, monitoring the maintenance activities like predictive, preventive and planned for all the process equipment, responsible for issuing work order & various permits like hot work/ work at height/confined space etc.,
Responsible for assessing the incoming raw materials, issuing of raw materials, packing materials, safety PPE’S from stores department within specified time.
Mapping the consumption of raw materials, F.G stock on regular basis in SAP and generating purchase request in SAP for required material.
Generating daily production report & monitoring all parameter’s like raw material consumption, man-days, power cost is within the range of given target for the month.
Extending support for procurement of necessary raw materials and consumable as per inventory; developing and assessing vendors from time to time as per requirement.
Conducting root cause analysis & sending detail report to superior manager for less productivity; maintaining detailed record of dispatch material from plant with batch numbers, Quality report, quantity etc.,
Leading a team of 35 members of workers, 7 members of Shift supervisors in a shift & allocating them work as per situation demands & ensuring standard operating procedures are being followed.
Generating & maintaining identification & traceability of in-process & finished products & supervise packing department regularly also, maintaining ISO 9001 documents like updating process log sheets, shift log book, work order system, Permit system, Dispatch records, Breakdown M/T analysis etc.
Working on 5 ‘S’ documents like updating log sheets, self-audit sheet, Audit graph (with percentages), after before photographs records, 3 mint presentation sheet etc.
Accountable for planning & realizing monthly production budget & submitting monthly MIS report within week to General Manager along with reports on breakdowns, deviation in product quality, abnormalities in machineries, Incidence/Near miss/Accidents, in-disciplinary act if observed on shaft floor etc.
Responsible for preparing monthly raw material plan & production schedule based on received sales plan from Sales team by 1st of every month.
Training the team on work place safety and safe practices of handling the equipment and products thereby, ensuring adherence of the work instructions.
Continuously monitoring the processes and identifying the areas of improvement and maintaining discipline & congenial work environment across the shop floor.
