Achievements:
Re-design of Extrusion process, tooling and equipment for both Bias & Radial plant as a part of productivity improvement project which resulted in 15 % to 20% improvement in productivity.
Process proving & establishment of Dual cavity tread extrusion for PCR tyres.
Team leader for Tread and Sidewall rework reduction which resulted in 30% to 40% reduction.
Implementation of Cap & Base cum Wing tip treads for PCR tyres by eliminating cushion compound layer.
Developed Tread profile for Bias Tyre to reduce circumferential crack at cured tyre shoulder and Tread shoulder separation.
Developed Mid-cap Tread for Bias Tyre to improve mileage
(Three compound in one Tread) with existing Duplex extruder.
Worked two months in Dunlop Tyres, South Africa, on deputation, for improving Extrusion process.
