Production Manager
Currently working in an automotive systems naufaturing company since Feb 2006
Involved from day 1 of the building of the plant, machinery installation, liaising with contractors to ensure time parameters are met.
Interviewing of all prospective candidates.
Traveling to Europe for training on various equipment used in our service.
Setting up, programming and maintaining machinery in the initial stages of production. Once up in running responsible for the day to day running of plant, leasing with all departments to ensure smooth flow of product from goods in to production till final product is shipped out to customer. Attend daily meetings; advise engineers of what maintenance is required. Train operatives in all aspects of production. Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.

From 1998 to 2006 worked for Graham Plastics Packaging as Shift Manager/Engineer. Responsible for day to day running of machinery, liase with all departments to ensure smooth running of plant, ensure all quality parameters are met, aid maintenance and setters with fault finding, programming and set up of various stretch blow molding machinery. Attend daily production meetings. Interviewing of all prospective employees, arranging temporary labour as required.

From 1990 till 1998 transferred to Mc Cormick United Kingdom as a Team Leader. Again responsible for day-to-day running, maintaining and set up and trouble shooting of various equipment.

From 1985 till 1990 work for Mc Cormick, Canada as Line Mechanic/Night Shift Leader. Responsible for day-to-day running of packaging equipment, maintenance set up and trouble shooting. Also responsible for staff at nights.

From 1980 till approx 1985 worked as automotive repair technician in Canada. Main duties to perform all minor and major repairs to all makes of vehicles.

Throughout my career I have obtained many different certificates. I am very knowledgeable in the IT area, well versed in most MS application, and capable of troubleshooting and aiding in networks.

Future Goals

I my currently looking to relocate to the Nairobi area. I wish to maintain my current position within a company or a higher position. I have a variety of experience and am a very dedicated and hard working individual. I am very flexible, adaptable and have has always been seen as a top all my previous positions.
