Cost reduction in lub oil sumps by changing the material of the same from aluminum to MS fabricated for non-marine application. Cost reduction in cylinder head cover by changing the material of the same from aluminum casting to C.I.casting.
Cost reduction by introducing alternate cheaper and better quality material in foundry like coconut shell charcoal, silicon carbide, silicon punch scrap, silicon manganese.
Cost reduction of 3% by alternate new vendors and renegotiations with present vendors for components like balance shaft & camshaft turning, casting of engine foot, valve Seat inserts etc.
Reduction in inventory carrying cost by reducing raw material inventory of foundry from Rs 10 Lakh to Rs 7 Lakh per month.
Reduction In Manufacturing Expenses
Subcontracted the works made process like Lagging of manifolds, heat treatment of components, assemblies of lub oil pumps; assembly of water pumps, fettling of casting, core making etc. reduce the in house manufacturing expenses in coordination with Industrial Engineering Department.
