Worked on template free synthesis of ZSM-5, P-ZSM-5, FAUJASITE, AlPO using inexpensive raw materials, FCC catalyst design and naphtha cracking using MR & MAT with an objective to enhance the selectivity of propylene, gas yield and hydrothermal stability of the catalyst. KBR Inc., USA, and SK Chemicals, Korea, jointly promoted this project. The project is productively completed.
Worked on producing epichlorohydrin from glycerol (a by-product obtained from bio-diesel) and completed the project with a 99.5% conversion and 96.5% DCPO selectivity. SK Chemicals, Korea, supported this project.
