The materials making are Anti tracking, Insulating, Dual wall (outer surface is conductive ), LSR material for making the Cold shrink components.
My duties and responsibilities are:
Quality control of the all incoming and out going materials.
Managing the Raw material inspection.
Schedule Planning to run the production in order to keep sufficient stock as to execute the orders.
R& D on the Heat shrinkable formulation in polymer products ,to give the less cost high effective out put.
Third party inspection of the material to check for the proper cross-linking dosage by E-beam.
On line inspection on the Compounding line, Extruders, Expansion of tubing and components (Cold shrink) and injection moulding machines.
Making the required formats and maintaing the records for traceability
Conducting the testing of material batch wise, invoice wise, generation of test reports.
Extensive knowledge of testing of Electrical, Mechanical, Physical tests of the polymer products.
Generating the BOM’s for the received orders, keep the stock in required levels managing the stock inventory.

Third party inspection for government inspection agencies like RITES, BSNL, TUV and others.
Maintaing the 3 injection moulding machines & one Continuous Wrap around Sleeve manufacturing with Hot melt coating.
Planning of production of Telecom cable jointing kits.
Making of the MIS details of production, deliveries, rejection details for each and every machine, to analyze the data.

Establishing quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems to enhance quality of products & reduce the rejection rate.

Total Costing for the TSF-kits and M-kits used for the Jelly filled telecommunication cables.
