Assigned for root cause analysis of customer complaints and their time bound technical solutions.
Engaged as White & Black Masterbatch expert for the business/operations, coordinate with external (Customer and RM suppliers) and internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Planning, Production, and QC).
Development of alternative cost effective masterbatch for blown film application and their
properties evaluation w.r.t. Mechanical Property, Corona Treatment, Dispersion, CoF, WVTR & OTR, Surface Resistivity, Gloss etc.
Competitor product analysis, raw materials testing & understanding possible interaction between RMs, intelligent polymer processing and characterization.

Description: The work is focused on novel super tough blend of PLA/EVA (50 wt.% vinyl
acetate) and their halloysite nanotubes (HNT) reinforced nanocomposites.
Achievements of Project: Prepared nanocomposite is superior to ABS in terms of Impact
strength, tensile modulus and elongation-at-break. Thermo-mechanical performance and
impact resistance of developed blends enhanced significantly (>25 times) than neat PLA.
Dynamic rheology demonstrated increased complex viscosity i.e lower fluidity of polymer
melt (Polymer Testing & RSC Advances Journals). Nanocomposite of super tough blend
contained high stiffness, high temperature resistance and good mechanical performance
suitable for high stress applications. (Journal of Material Science)
