Reaction Handling :
Sulphonation of Naphthalene with H2SO4, Condensation of naphthalene sulfonic acid (BNSA) with formaldehyde (37%) at pressure 03 to 04 kg/cm2 and Neutralization of condensed mass with caustic soda lye to neutral to alkaline pH.
Washing of crude naphthalene (purity 97%) with acid and alkali to get its purity minimum 99% and
sold in market as white Naphthalene.
Esterification of Methoxy Polyethylene Glycol with Metha acrylic acid and its polymerization with
metha acrylic acid produce Poly Carboxylic ether (PCE). Used as super plasticizer in concrete
admixture. It’s a new product to the market and only Himadri Chemicals and Ltd has able to develop the technology in India.
Different type of bulk and redox polymerization handling for production of Polycarboxylate
Ether based polymers for Superplasticizers in construction field.
