· Passed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Bombay University in second class with
Chemistry as Principal subject and Physics as subsidiary subject in the year
1979.
· Passed postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Processing Technology from Central
Institute of Plastics Engineering Tools (CIPET) Madras, in 1981, a project
assisted by UNDP.
· Underwent one-year certificate course in German from Bombay University,
Department of Foreign Languages in the year 1982.
· Passed First semester Diploma in Marketing Management from Bombay
University.

Work Experience

· From 1993 till date
Self employed Trading in various Plastics products and also Technical Consultant for the erection of EPS Processing plants. So far have successfully erected Four Plants in and around Mumbai.

· Joined ALA Chemicals as Product Manager for their new project for Additive Masterbatch and worked for about an year.

· From 1986, was involved extensively in the launching of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) in the Country which the company had a Technical Collaboration with Sunde Plastics Norway. Prior to this BASF India Ltd. were the only Manufacturer of this Raw material in the country.
Being in the core project group, conducted All India Market survey, set up Processing Franchises for this raw material and was sent to W.Germany for training on various processing machines for EPS in the year 1987.

Resigned from Hindustan Polymers as Assistant Sales Manager (Western Region) in the year 1992.
· Joined Hindustan Polymers in March 1983, as Technical Sales Executive to look after Central Marketing Office and Product Development & Technical Services.This company was involved in the manufacture of Polystyrene Raw material.

· Worked as Production Supervisor in M/s Heliplastics Ltd., engaged in the manufacture of HDPE & PP Storage Tanks, Reaction vessels, Scrubbers etc, with the unique process of spiral winding by extrusion and fabrication with heat welding under German Process collaboration during the period from 1981 to 1983.
