JOB PROFILE:
Store Dept.:
Responsible for directing various Inventory Management related activities.
Crucial in implementing Bin–Card system in Inventory maintenance. Was also responsible for defining the Minimum Inventory level, reorder level and EOQ for all the items. Presently working on the concept of Just-in-time Inventory to be implemented in the company. I have worked for minimizing the Inventory by classifying the Items on the concept of ABC classification and controlling accordingly. Special attention was given for waste controlling which contribute significant revenue in major Industries.

Purchase Dept.:
As a Functional Manager I am directly involved in controlling all the activities of the purchasing department.
Preparing Purchase Budget and plan based on the sales forecast and Budget meeting decision was the major responsibility. I used to consider forecast, Source of supply, cost rates, Credit Period and Inventory cost before finalizing the budgets. And scheduling the orders and fixing delivery dates.
I am also involved in Quotation analysis, selecting right suppliers by repeated and constant market research and analysis and by obtaining the material at right price. Maintaining the relationship with vendors, giving training to purchase personals to improve effectiveness and efficiency obtaining technical information advice. Establishing and developing specifications for materials. Complete follow-up of the order after receipts of material till payments to the suppliers.

Maintenance Dept.:
Directing and controlling the maintenances of all the major machines like Thermo-pack Boiler, CNC cutting machine, Injection molding machine, heat sealing machine, and all electrical equipments.
I was responsible for defining preventive maintenance schedule for all the machines. Spare parts requirement and maintenance of their inventory level.

Manufacturing Dept.:
Inventory & Warehouse management designs include standard and custom inventory commitments and replenishment processes, multi unit of measures for accuracy of on-hand values and visibility of demand and supply across multi-country, multi-picking and packing requirements. Shop floor activities for inventory movements and production completions for raw material, component, and finished goods for manual issues and/or back flush operations involving applications coordinated with standard and custom reports for data analysis, data collection and managing the manufacturing process and flow. Responsible for implementation of Inventory Management, Agreement & Procurement Management and Enterprise Asset Management for Manufacturing Division, including all storeroom items, Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance Schedules and Equipment Management. Identification of the various production capacities and defining the production stage wise Bill of Material for a Discrete Batch Manufacturing Environment.
Creating a Daily Production Master Schedule based on Monthly Production Plan.
Implementation of an on-floor material Requisition system, a stage wise production output control for better accounting of Work In Progress Stocks and a Finished Goods Transfer System to the Warehouse through a proper Quality Assurance Department Batch Release.

Planning:
Deriving the Production Plan based on the forecasts, on-hand inventory and the W.I.P. Processing the M.R.P based on the production plan. Generating automatic delivery indents based on the material shortfalls and lead times.

Quality Control:
Defining the specifications master and sampling schemes for the materials. Automatic registration of GRNs for QC. Setting auto intimation for retest requirements. Defining a Quality check for in-process semi-finished goods and the Finished Goods for various product groups.
