Stream lined the saponification process and modified certain vessels to incorporate Chinese clay as a filler there by cutting raw material costs by a further 12 to 15 percent.
Introduced newer vacuum technology and speed up the plodder (extrusion time) and increase production by 53% on existing infrastructure.
Sourcing of raw materials became a challenge and international suppliers were sourced to feed the higher demand.
This operation included various types of pumps for different viscosity materials which ranged from Tallow to caustic and of course water and soap.
Steam lines had specific water traps made for them so as to recapture the treated water and reuse into the process saving a 15 percent on water and water treatment costs.
This was a short term project as the company was taken over by the Beige Group.
