Job Profile:
Overall responsibility of the Extrusion & Molding Shop of the Unit
Planning adherence on day -to-day activities, production schedules, cost estimation activities and allocating work for achieving of monthly production targets
Production Planning & daily performance monitoring
Daily review of Production reports with the manufacturing head, upkeep of Production & Planning records
Review of Production Schedules & material status with the Unit Head- Daily MIS
Daily monitoring / review of reported Non-Conformances & Customer Complaints
Minimizing performance bottlenecks for high productivity with optimization of men, material & machine
Imparting product & process related trainings - Preparation of Training Programs (5-S, TPM etc.)
Regular monitoring of Departmental objectives & taking necessary corrective actions
Periodic performance appraisals of staff and recommendations
Monitoring of Shop-Floor housekeeping & environmental aspects
Scheduling & monitoring of 5-S audits of Shop floor area.
Monthly review of Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance Records
Arranging & execution of SPC Studies
Resource planning & Production budgeting
To ensure that the staff of the Production Department are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
Analyzing various processes/ applications and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency
Taking initiatives for improvements in processes for quality & cost benefits of plant
Assessing the training needs of employees in co-ordination with HR
Create an atmosphere of active working by maintaining good human relations among members in the working groups
Involving in employee coaching & counseling, appraising and reviewing performance, ensuring optimum performance
Ensure production of OK quality parts

Increase the OEE from 50 to 75%
Reduce scrape rate from 25% to 10%
