Key Responsibilities:
Handling raw material approvals in coordination with FTEC, Norway and coordinating with them on process, product, raw material issues, if nay
Suggesting improvement measures in the process proactively, monitoring process efficiency, raw material performance & their efficiency, process optimization, etc.
Providing Technical support to Production & Process team
Ensuring strict implementation of Process parameters laid down by Technology company FTEC, Norway
Interacting with all the personnel and develop a fool proof systems for building the Product Quality and Process Quality.
Ensuring the recruitment, formation of SOPs, setting of KRAs for the QA / QC team
Ensuring that the customer specifications are met with proper coordination between Customer and Sales, Design & Production teams
Ensuring that trainings / Quality awareness programs are conducted regularly.
Ensuring reduction in customer complaints, repair work, scrap generation and elimination of repeating complaints.
Setting meaningful & measurable objectives, quality scorecard.
Leading ISO / QMS as a Management Representative and follow all the procedures for better improvements in the Quality systems.
Coordinating with Government agencies, Certification agencies, Third party approval for product & process audits.
Visiting vendor Site(s) for inspection to ensure that the policies are being implemented, identifying and evaluating their credibility and suggesting alternate method(s), processes etc, as required.
Ensuring quality of incoming raw material is as per the process & product requirements.
Identifying the non conformities, suggesting perfect technical solutions and closing the NCR.
Preparing MIS on Audit findings, pending NCRs, the status of major NCRs and the action plan for Corrective Action.
Ensuring implementation of 5 S, Safety of people & plant.

Goa Glass Fibre, a high tech venture of the Binani group in technical collaboration with Bishop Technology Inc.USA was a continuous process plant with the state-of-the-art technology. It produces glass fibre products like Chopped strands mat, woven roving, direct & indirect roving, chopped strands, etc. GGFL was having turnover above INR 80 crore and exporting the finished goods to more than 27 countries and employed around 350 employees. Binani group is a well-reputed business house having diversify interests in non-ferrous metals like zinc, lead etc, cement, glass fibre, FRP molding and many more. Binani Group’s annual turnover was above INR 1500 crore and group is having overseas plants also.
