Job profile-
Preparation of long range plans and seasonal estimates, financial plan and capital expenditures plans for the factory
Maintenance / improvement of quality of all products manufactured or procured. Ensure effective production planning to obtain and uninterrupted flow of production (within the constraints and requirements of the customer)
To plan proper and efficient layouts of plant to ensure smooth flow of work and this avoid backtracking and unnecessary bottlenecks and delays. To direct and participate personally in experimenting with new materials on the market and new methods of production to contribute to the development of the production line
To evaluate the use of new materials and methods in production and introduce them into general production if found more economical. In accordance with established principles, ensure timely delivery of daily plans in quality and testing conforming to signed samples and prepare production planning accordingly.
To strive to achieve 100% of the estimates prepared and agreed in respect of production and results
To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment and space and plant modernization
Active participation in research and development operations including machinery & new molds developments
Maintain congenial relations with Trade Union, employee's locality and close liaison with Govt. authorities
Be responsible for observation of the laws of the country relating to factories and the company's estate
To ensure that the expenditure of the unit is in accordance with the financial plan, whenever possible
