Projects Done
Project : Reverse Engineering of Shoe bottom
Duration: 1 month
Description: This is a reverse engineering project done for M/s. CAM Engineering;
Chennai. In this project the customer has given the wooden pattern
of the component. The points are taken from the component using
CMM FARO ARM (USING 3D CALIPER SOFTWARE). The iges format
of points is imported in catiav5 and generative shape design of
catiav5 is used for building the surfaces. The Core & cavity was
separated using and the component was successfully manufactured.

Project: Product Development of Household sanitation device
Client: Regional Research Laboratory, Trivandrum
Duration: 3 months
This is a new product development of household sanitation device which consist of
Tank, digestor, settler, manhole cover, ring. Catiav5 is used for modeling, assembly, detailing of the above-mentioned components. Hydrostatic pressure was applied on the tank using Ansys for stress analysis. According to stress results the model was changed using Catia v5 and then analyzed using Ansys.

Project: Modeling and Assembly of CVJ Boot and Shaft (Material: Rubber and Steel)
Description: This is a modeling project done to Sundaram industries. The aim of the project is to do a hyper elastic nonlinear analysis of the cvj boot & shaft in ansys for the testing of its failure. The modeling part of the boot & shaft are done in Catiav5 using the part design workbench. The analysis part was carried out using Ansys workbench.

Project: Modeling of Fuel pump plate (Material: POM)
Description: This is a modeling project done to Pentathewa auto component India ltd. In this project the customer has given the 2D drawing from which the 3d model has been generated. Part design workbench of catiav5 has been used and the stl file of the component has been used for mold flow analysis.

Project: Modeling Of AIR FILTER BODY (Material: NYLON)
Description: This is a Modeling project done for M/s. SUNDARAM CLAYTON. In this project the customer has given the 2d drawing .My part is to convert the 2d to STL file format for mold flow analysis. Used part modeling for this project.

Project: Conversion of a V4 FILE to IGES
Description: This is a data conversion project done to Suspa pneumatics kottivakkam Chennai. In this project the customer has given the v4 sequential (.exp) file from which the v4 files are extracted using Catia.The extracted v4 files are converted to iges formats in Catia v5.
