From 1986 to 1987, in M/S Vinniy Engineering,Kolkata as Chemical Engineer(Projects). Major jobs include design and estimation of water and effluent treatment plant.

From 1987 to 1988 in M/s Allied Resins and Chemicals Ltd, Kolkata as Graduate Engineer Trainee. Worked in Production and Technical services Dept related to Formaldehyde,Hexamin, Penta-erytritol,UF and PF resins plant

From 1988 to 1998 in Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.
Joined as Management Trainee, Confirmed as Production Engineer and promoted to Senior production Engineer.
Worked from pre-commissioning stage to full production in Dry spun Acrylic fiber plant. Major jobs include – Achieving targeted production as per production planning, sustain production throughput with safe plant operation, product quality, manpower management in shift operation,leading a group of engineers as Shift incharge both in Polymerisation and Spinning Area.
As Process Engineer worked in modification and technology related jobs. Suggestion given in different areas for cost reduction.
