Work Experience

From 1997 to Till Date:
Working in one of the largest company produce varieties of Perfumes & Cosmetics of different brands.
Joined as a Production Engineer & got elevated to the position of Head of Plastics Department reporting directly to the General Manager.
My main responsibilities include the following:
· To develop new products packaging concept into Mock up to production through
value analysis of the design of the product together with an assessment of the
method of manufacture.
· Projects planning includes budget from the concept of the product through to
point of manufacturing, ranging from low volume batch quantities through to
continous production.
· Develop manufacturing techniques, tooling option, post operations, quality
control techniques to achieve financial & technical objectives.
· Planning for effective, efficient & economical productive methods with continuous
improvement by analyzing the Plants resources.
· Scheduling, execution & monitor of production orders through staffing,
procurement & maintenance of equipment, quality control, inventory control &
work closely with other departments for smooth flow of work within cost & time
constraints.
· To train & guide a team of Supervisors & Technicians for achieving the production
targets.
· To control lateral management of floor & to transfer management objectives
down the line for efficient production to achieve company objectives.
· To utilize effectively the main resources such as Men, Materials & Machines.
· To plan & draw preventive maintenance plans for the Machines without disrupting
the production plans.
· To minimize rejections & down time by effective planning & better control through
monitor product standards through inspecting samples of finished goods &
analyze quality control problems..
· Plan & develop Mold maintenance schedule to get repair in Tool Room & send out
side if required.
· To prepare & control Bill of material, Routing, Shop floor control, Hours
accounting, Cost accounting, Production planning control etc through Baan
Manufacturing.
· Decision on selection of mold makers, machine suppliers, raw material sources &
material of new products.

· To designate key & end user in BaaN implementation.

2. Oct95 to Aug96:
Worked in Supreme Recording Company-India as a Production Engineer.
The Company is engaged in production of plastic components for the Audio
cassettes. Responsible for the operation & maintenance of Injection Molding
Machines & Molds.

3. Jan94 to May95: Worked in Elyas Plastic Factory as Operation & Maintenance
Engineer. Responsible for the operation & maintenance of Blown film extrusion
plant, Injection Molding Machines & unit of waste recycling plant.

4. Sep91 to April93: Worked in Bharat Strips Limited-India. BSL is a leading
manufacturer of Non Ferrous alloy strips rolled on various mills from 4 HI to 20
HI of various thicknesses. Joined BSL as Graduate Engineer Trainee & later got
promoted as Production Engineer.
· Responsible for operation & maintenance of rolling mill.
· Inspection of rolled strips of varying thickness.
· Setting strips & rolls. · Quality consistency by minimizing scrap rate.
· Scheduling production & maintenance plans.
· Effective utilization of Men, machinery & Materials.

Business Visits:
· China in Jan 2004-for trial run of molds & visits to Blow Molding Machine
Manufacturers.
· China in April 2003-for technical discussions & finalizing mold suppliers.
· Taiwan in April 2003-for technical discussion of Plastic Tube Making Plant &
Injection Blow Molding.
· K-98-Dusseldorf, Germany-1998-Attended 14th International Trade Fair for
Plastics & Rubber to discuss technical matters with Machine/ Raw Materials &
Equipments suppliers. To study the emerging trends in Plastics.
