Job Description

The Production Manager ensures that the production department will reach the production target defined by planning department in term of quantity, quality, and efficiency starting from the receiving of components, to the production process until the packaging of the finished goods
Production manager to make sure he gets the desired efficiency from the plant.
Production manager to make sure, he monitor the production, rejection, break down data in detailed format as per ERP.
Production manager to ensure 100% accuracy in reconciling the RM on daily basis.
Production manager to ensure no Hold materials kept unattended for more than 48 hours in the plant.
Production manager to ensure all cross functional activities related to his department is aligned properly and monitored on daily basis.
Production Manager should have complete details of critical spares required and its availability for all critical moulds and machines running in the plant (More specific to the machines which are like one machine, one product combinations).
Production manager to have basic Idea of all the utilities and its start-up and shout down procedures including DG sets.
Production manager should have updated list of moulds, machines, ancillaries, its specifications and mould machine matrix.
Any delay in attending any breakdown beyond 2 hours, the same need to be escalated to FM.
Encourage employee on safety mind, and ensure the good behaviour and discipline of the production team
In-charge of material / production flow and reach the production target by ensuring a smooth production starting from receiving component / raw material until Finished goods area
Ensure the proper training of new Operators in term of products, components, working instructions and process standard to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
Allocate manpower on the machine according to the production planning.
Propose need of direct manpower according to process standard and production schedule on weekly basis and request additional direct manpower to support production prior production manager approval.
Follow up the machine repair with the engineering and maintenance department in case of machine breakdown.
Coordinate with logistic and warehouse department to ensure the availability of component for production scheduled in daily basis.
Organize the daily meeting with Operators to inform production results, targets and corrective / preventive actions in case of quality issues.
Maintain and check on each machine the proper filling and availability of in-process quality control and traceability data procedures and devices, and/or other related manufacturing documents that need to be filled by Operators and ensure safe quality control in-process during the production.
Analyze quality problems and / or Customers complains, and propose corrective / preventive action in the assembling process with quality control / Engineering and maintenanc
