Job profile-
Ensure that safety regulations, quality standards and relative procedure practices are met as per ISO Guidelines during production process in shop floor circle.
Maintain of Quality Related Documents and update them in a timely manner.
Analyze the chemical composition as per Sampling plan IS 2500 for incoming raw material (ingots, pre- alloys and in-house castings logs by utilizing the spectrometer and enrolling it in chemical format.
Dimensions of the profile are checked by using Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Engineer’s Square, Steel rule, Measuring tape, Profile projector, Bevel
protractor, Feeler gauge, Radius gauge, Slip gauge,then recorded in the dimensional reports.
Raise product non conformance's.
Patrolling inspection for Visual checks are performed at in process stage for any surface defects, handling damages like scratches, bend, twist, blisters, flatness, chatter, stringer, die lines etc., are record them the material status report.
Ensure the Ageing process as per temper designations required by extruded profiles maintaining temperature uniformity across air chamber furnace and recorded in ageing report.
Testing of Physical Property Hardness carried out using Webster for hollow,solid sections.
Testing of Mechanical Properties- UTS,%Elongation and Proof Stress are to be calculated by using Universal Testing Machine (UTS), Extensometer then report the results in mechanical test report.
As per customer requirement if the material gets anodized the coating thickness will be inspected by using coating thickness gauge and electrical conductivity is checked using conductivity meter. We ensure visual defects (pitting, fretting, spangling, acid corrosion, anodizing burn etc.)
Trials for new product in coordination with procurement and presenting FAI.
Testing and measuring instruments are identified with unambiguous number and calibrated up to date.
Monitoring quality systems & compliance with preset standards (EN 755, EN 573); troubleshooting requisite documents to ensure complete in-process quality & improvement in process capabilities.
Graphical methods such as Pie chart, Pareto chart, trend analysis, Line chart and Bar chart for process capability study that help in analyzing the data to diagnose problems. Also useful In data based decision making submitted as input quality tools shall used on need based at every stage of inspection, customer complaints.
