Tetra Pak is working closely as a packaging solutions partner with many private and cooperative-sector organizations, including leading local and multinational food companies in India. Together with its customers, Tetra Pak aims to drive business and growth, offering innovative products, high-end technology solutions and relevant marketing initiatives. “Driving Environmental Excellence” is one of four 2020 Strategic Pillars for Tetra Pak and we take a full life cycle approach for driving environmental excellence. In India, Tetra Pak is pro-actively working with NGOs, waste management companies, waste collectors, recyclers and consumers to set-up an ecosystem for sustainable recycling of used Tetra Pak cartons.

The Recycling Business Development Manager, based at Gurgaon, will be responsible for driving our strategic objective related to environment, particularly, the collection & recycling of used Tetra Pak cartons.

Key Responsibilities
1. Drive recycling targets by securing and developing collection networks & recycling capacities
2. Drive continuous improvement of recycling solutions and support recyclers in their business development
3. Support development of short and long-term collection programs
4. Drive partnership with identified NGOs
5. Secure environmental performance reporting of market company
6. Ensure a more favorable perception of beverage carton than other containers, with consumers, authorities & opinion leaders, by promoting awareness of our recycling initiatives
7. Develop the required environmental communication strategy for above and ensure implementation in close cooperation with the communications team. This includes budget management and progress monitoring.
8. Coordinate activities within global and cluster networks

Qualifications & Experience
1. Your educational background is degree in engineering or business management
2. You have at least 5 years experience working with business and have dealt with business development from technical and/or business point of view
3. Experience from plastic recycling or the pulp and paper industry is an added advantage

Professional Competence
1. Natural communicator with out-going personality and ability to work closely with senior management both internally and externally
2. Hardworking, tactful, determined and with the ability to work without direct supervision and to meet deadlines
3. Highly computer literate
4. Ability to travel freely
