Job Description

Industry Knowledge with experience of minimum 10 years in a similar domain.

Experience in the Plastic Houseware or FMCG Industry: Proven experience working in or selling to the plastic houseware, consumer goods, or related industries is essential. The candidate should be familiar with product life cycles , manufacturing processes, and industry trends.

Product Knowledge: A solid understanding of plastic houseware products (kitchenware, storage solutions, etc.) and how they fit into the market.

Sales Expertise
Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in similar markets. Experience in both B2B (wholesalers, retailers, distributors) and B2C sales models is valuable.

Territory Management: Experience managing regional or national sales territories, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding market reach. Appointing a strong distributor & dealer network.

Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate deals, contracts, and pricing with clients and suppliers while maximizing profitability.

Customer Focus
Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners. Experience in managing large accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.
Customer Service Orientation: A deep commitment to understanding customer needs and offering solutions that enhance their experience with your products.

Leadership and Team Management
Team Leadership: Experience in leading and motivating a sales team, setting clear targets, and helping team members grow and succeed.
Training & Development: Skills in training sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends to ensure the team performs at its best.
Collaboration: Ability to work closely with other departments like marketing, product development, and supply chain to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

Strategic Planning and Analysis
Market Analysis: The ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to develop effective sales strategies.
Sales Forecasting: Proficiency in using data and analytics to forecast sales, set goals, and measure performance.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.
