Job Profile:
Key Responsibilities include Feasibility study of new projects, modeling of new concept, creating BOM, Tool chart, drawing for review.
Designing all types of plastic injection moulds from layout to detail.
Familiar with hot runner, nozzle and tip style, valve gate and control system.
Detailing all kinds of drawing for customers, CAM and shop.
Revised mould design for engineering change.
Coordinate with Project Engineer to ensure the regarding parts to meet the requirements and specification as per customer needs.

Job Profile : 
Review product designs for tool constructions.
Prepare and review mould specification sheets with Lead plant tool engineer and tool vendor to commence the Mould design & tool manufacturing process.
Travel to tooling vendors for on-site follow-up and tool tryouts.
Coordinate & communicate proactively with product designer, mould manufacturer, Purchase dept., vendors & moulding shop to complete the project prior to its launch.
Product validation (Prepare product approval testing report, making Product data sheet, value stream mapping).
Coordinated with vendors and resolved all technical issues that occurred in manufacturing process. 
Making Bill of Material & costing sheet for new products.
Conduct process audits & trouble shoot the moulding process problems.

Successfully completed the PET Bottle Molding Shop Project: that includes :
Process design.
Selection & procurement of Injection moulding machine, PET Preform moulds, SBM moulds, SBM machine, auxiliary equipment's like Hot runner controllers, Hopper dryers, volumetric masterbatch dosers, resin De-humidifiers, Mould de-humidifiers, Chillers, quality testing equipment.
Setup the PET bottle molding process. 
Training to moulding machine operators, supervisors & engineers about IM & SBM process & quality control.

Successfully handled the Overseas project :
Solely handled the Chinese mould projects, which included 29 moulds. Visited China 4 times in four month span for Mould and Product validation.

Future Goals

To secure a position as a Tooling engineer in a plastic industry and support the company by imparting my knowledge in plastic manufacturing operations including New product development, Plastics processing, equipment selection, Mould design and tooling selection.
