Job Profile:
Worked on Teflon composite for Circuit Breaker Nozzle application with high Arc resistance properties. This is the product being used for ultra high voltage switch-gear circuit breaker. The material that was being used MoS2 filled PTFE. Performance was improved by using other solid lubricant for improving the high temperature arc resistance. (Patented)
Worked to “Implementation in properties of Polyester Concrete for dry type Transformer application”. In this I have optimized the cure time and condition for the production to improve its thermal stability. So for curing characteristics have been studied of Unsaturated Polyester resin. The crack during transportation at low temp region was also improved using Nano materials.
Developed ‘Soft Magnetic Composites’ for Magnetic Motor Core application using polymeric material for encapsulation on the Iron powder. This is alternative technology to laminated motor core. This is a very thin film coating application in which film thickness, method of coating and magnetic properties were of main consideration. This is my great fortune to work as a Polymer Technologist in the field of Soft magnetic material being pioneer in this field.
Completed the project and summer training (of 60 days) entitled “To Study the Adhesion of Chloroprene Rubber Compound with Nylon and Aramid Fabric” from “Raksha Polycoats” M.I.D.C. Bhosari, Pune
