This field of invention relates to a anti spill lead acid automotive battery, which is anti-spill in application usage as wells exhibits anti- spill characteristics during battery rapid charging or overcharging conditions also when it is tilted at its adjacent and opposite directions @ 90° & 180°
This is a simple & economical approach in design of Anti-spill or spill proof or leak retardant concept of lead acid batteries that are used in automotive applications. This is achieved with the use of smart single Cover (Lid), EIC vent, airlock vent cap part, Anti-spill reversible gas flow side vent & Secondary Airlock adapter in the construction of lead acid battery.

This invention relates to the tubular plate that used in the Tubular lead acid battery which is cost effective and high efficient. The tubular plate having the vertical spines originating from the top bar is introduced with an engineering plastic protector which seals the lead alloy top bar, holding the individual spines at the origin point as well as gauntlets on assembly. The plastic top bar is of two parts and is sealed by any advanced assembly mechanism.
The required active material in the form of powder or paste is held between the spine and the gauntlets; this is sealed at the bottom using a novel end cap. This novel end cap has lead or lead alloy interlink chain, once inserted at the bottom it connects all the individual spines and create a path for uniform distribution of current flow during its service life.
This novel tubular plate can be very well adopted as negative plate also in the lead acid battery. Moreover the batteries assembled with the combination of tubular positive and negative plate may not require separator between them, resulting in lower manufacturing cost. Furthermore, this invention also relates to the lead acid battery having tubular plate which has the beneficial effects like saving power & cost, safety and reliability
