Executive - Supply Chain: Planning Europe Region
Since June 2007 to December 2007.
Worked with Dow Chemicals International Pvt. Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Vikhroli (W), Mumbai.
Job Profile:
To ensure the raw material, feedstock, intermediates availability for the plant running in Europe- Engineering - Plastics.
Procurement of raw material from supplier based in Europe region.
Managing timely delivery of raw material from supplier.
Contract Manufacturing for intermediates, to ensure the supply of raw material and to get the intermediates product time to time as per the forecast and requirement.
Coordination with logistic department for the movement of material within the warehouse, for contract manufacturing.
Inventory Management considering the forecast, consumption, self life of material, lead time, running & open production orders.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for smooth running of plant (Europe Region) by ensuring raw material, feedstock, intermediates without any shortage.
Negotiation with supplier for material pricing in concern with Supply Chain Manager and lead time.
To ensure the necessary requirements of Contract Manufacturer to get the correct product with quality and in time.
Raise QM (Quality Message) against supplier in case of quality of material, no timely deliveries if plant is suffering form failure in process and implies for major cost effect. And ensure for preventive and corrective action with the supplier.
Offgrade: Off grading properly of the material from plant monthly to sale off the low grade/ wastage product to add up cost benefit to the company.
Attend monthly review meeting with Supply Chain Manager, Business Supply Chain Planner (BSCP), Functional Leader & Executives of other concern department conducted by BSCP.
Suggest in the process improvement of SAPPP & MM module required for smooth running of process.
