JOB PROFILE:
Preventive Maintenance:
Formulating strategic plans to enhance preventive maintenance.
Preparation of preventive maintenance schedule for the machines from its catalogues, manuals & past history of the machines.
Conceptualizing and implementing strict measures in maintenance procedures and equipment centerlines to optimize resource/capacity utilization.
Maintaining maintenance volumes through constant interaction with production & planning teams.
Evaluating major capital expenditure proposals to secure the best interest of the plant and reduce the downtime.
Project Engineering:
Developing project plans & schedules, arranging resources to ensure achievement of targets as per budgeted parameters.
Ensuring profitability of operations; compliance with Quality of maintenance activity.
Maintenance of overall power distribution system of the plant.
Overall interaction with Govt.Authorities to fulfill all legal requirements of all power system, DG sets, compressors, ETP plant etc.
Preparing guidelines, manuals & work instructions for production operators for the machine for facilitating decision making
Downtime Reduction:
Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various machineries and to increase machine up time/ reliability; thereby accomplishing reduction in downtime.
Proactively identify areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
Developing and implementing plans & schedules for Maintenance Operations and Annual Turn Arounds with focus on optimum utilization of machines.
Predictive Maintenance:
Identifying & monitoring maintenance bottlenecks and undertaking corrective measures.
Procurement of the spares as per the requirement of predictive maintenance.
Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe & timely execution of the predictive maintenance.
Breakdown Maintenance:
Developing Quality Systems by streamlining system procedures, practices and approach and formulating SOPs.
Oversee implementation of quality tools to streamline and standardize workflow.
Conducting regular Internal Audits, Root Cause Analysis, Troubleshooting and Reviews to ensure adherence to highest standards.
Conducting various tests & inspections to ensure that maintenance done is in compliance with pre-set technical specifications with adherence to concepts like TPM etc.
Oversee implementation of quality tools the streamline and standardize maintenance.
Training and guiding teams on towards identifying factors critical to quality, reducing process variation, improving capabilities & increasing stability.
Resource Development:
Steer the development of new tools for the maintenance.
Coordinate with Production & planning dept for availability of the machines for the preventive maintenance.
Handle the process of development of new machine from designing validation of design, trials & testing and commencing production along with handling related documents & formalities.
Identify any changes and making final modifications in the machines for routine production.
Interact with Vendor Development Dept for supply of material and ensuring adherence to all specifications.
Implement Value Engineering initiatives to achieve standardization and reduce costs.
Automation Implementation:
Formulating guidelines for the sequencing of production activities.
Identifications of the production requirements & develop the machine to fulfill the production requirements.
