The company is West Africa’s biggest HDPE and PVC pipes and fitting manufacturing company. It produces PE pipes from 20 mm upto 800 mm dia, Co-extruded silicone pipe ducts for fiber optics cable. And PVC pipes from 20 mm upto 400 mm dia. It also produces various sizes of fittings required for PVC and PE piping.
My role
Managing production independently with overall responsibility for handling production of PVC fitting for pipes and other electrical purpose.

Attending the customer complaints and visiting customers for quality related issues.

Poly Tank (Gh) Ltd is one of the factory in POLY GROUP, their products includes injection molded thin walled containers for Unilever and other local cosmetic companies, gallons ranges from 2lt to 30lt for various food, and oil industries such as UNILEVER, SN SITEC, FANMILK, GHANDOUR, GHANA NUTS, TLOC, SHELL, MOBIL, Stretch blow molded PET bottles for COCA-COLA, UNILEVER, PZ CUSSONS, KASAPREKO, VOLTIC, BARON, BAQJANG, and all the mineral water producing companies.
POLYGROUP is also diversified into various Manufacturing divisions such as Roto Molding products, woven sacks, Paper Corrugation, they are also into trading of Raw materials and chemicals and they are the distributors of LG in West Africa. They also have an operation in other countries such as SONNEX Nigeria, MONTANA Nigeria etc.

Overseeing the commencement of production operations in the plant on commercial scale.
Maintaining a smooth supply chain between the various departments for achieving obstacle free production.
Maintenance of hot runner molds, blow moulds, injection mould and conventional moulds.
Managing all workshop activities which includes tooling, fabricating to reduce breakdown and downtime on the machine to enhance productivity.
