Project Description : This project aimed at converting the CATIA models to UG part files. The input was CATIA surface data. The UG PART should be fully parametric and easily editable for future reference. Destructive method was used for BIW components, and for the power train components CASTING APPROACH was used by building the tool body and subtracting it from the main body to reach the final desired shape parting lines are also maintained for the Casting and molded components. As a team member I was responsible for Glove box Assembly, Trunk lid Assembly, ABC Pillar trims, cluster etc. parts for Modeling, Quality and Delivery with in the scheduled time.

Project Description : This project involves conversion of various parts of Automobile parts, Converting Scan data (cloud data), STL data (Image ware data) of part to parametric model by using UG surfaces and solid modeling. All the components were designed parametrically by referring the data provided by customers. As a team member I was responsible for CB Outer surfaces for engine block, Bearing cover, Bearing cap and Oil Pan parts for Modeling, Quality and Delivery with in the scheduled time.
