Responsibilities: -
Process Management – Owns the manufacturing processes. Responsible for adopting & implementing new changes to reduce wastes & improving the product quality ensuring the optimum yield at every stage.

Product Derivatives – To check the feasibility & to make possible derivatives of the product based on customer requirements – 1.Range extension of existing products, 2.Specification enhancement in the existing products.

Vendor Development – To develop & release Asian sources for raw material supply to replace European sources for cost reduction & as an alternate source.

Engineering Support – Provide support, training & give advice to production & final control for understanding exact user requirements. Responsible for preparing documents like control plans, FMEA’s, PFD, PPAP, Change proposal, CN etc.

Project Management – Member of projects related to new machine set up & release (as per release plan).

Quality Management System Requirements – Responsible for understanding & maintaining the process data as per QMS requirements & maintaining process documents. Active participation in preparation & into audit process for various audits like ISO, TS, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001: 1999.

New product development – Provide technical support to new product development as per customer specifications & conduct various trials for NPD.

Customer Complaints – Member of cross functional team for analysis of customer complaints, & to decide corrective & preventive actions.

Material Specifications – To create & maintain raw material specifications, to create quality description sheet (QDS) for raw materials.
