Academic Project Details:
Project Name: Vibrational Analysis of Polymer Composite Material.
Period: December 2006 to July 2007.

Aim of the Project:
To prepare a composite material which is of low cost that results in high performance capabilities.

Project Description:
To prepare the polymer composite, we used a lot of materials and tried a lot of combination. Finally we relied upon materials which gave good mechanical properties. The ultimate materials used to prepare the composite are wood flakes, areca fibers, and a resin. By mixing these with a calculated ratio we prepared a perfect polymer composite. After that we carried out a lot of Vibrational Analysis as well as Harmonic analysis on that material so as to check the mechanical properties of the material. Ultimately we succeeded in preparing a composite which is a perfect replacement of Teak wood both in terms of Mechanical strength as well as cost.
