Quality Engineer
since Sep 2006.
It is a MNC, manufacturing wind rotor blade for producing electrical energy, of 43m, 34m and 32m, and using epoxy composite (FRP), by Resin Infusion Method technique.
Job Responsibility:
Incoming material( Epoxy resin, Ammine hardener, PVC foam, Poly Styrene foam, Glass Matt) testing, like viscosity testing using latest digital type Brookfield / Ford cup viscometer, Gel time, peak exotherm& time to peak of epoxy resin and hardener system, Density, Moisture content and gsm of glass mat.
FRP Material testing like Glass Transition Temperature, using Differential Scanning Calorimeter, which is computer controlled software based latest equipment (METTLER TOLEDO), Resin Content testing etc.
Analyzer of production process for Rotor blade manufacturing and looking after the molding department independently.
Time study for production activities and creation of parallel activities to reduce cycle time and to maintain the cycle time.
Preparing a production plan according to proposed production target.
Leading and motivating to Production team.
Analyzing & minimizing the product NCRs.
Minimizing wastage of raw material.
Co-ordinate with store and purchase department for material.
Final inspection with DNV & implementation of the standard functionality of the QC module
