Project Details: Project starts from Narmada (Nemawar village) to Dewas Industrial Estate. Transmission main-128kms (Maximum 600mm diameter FRP (GRP) Pipes were used, in-between some places around 10kms- MS pipes were used). Four stage of pumping: Raw Water Pump, CWP-I, II & III (Clear Water Pump house). Distribution main-35kms. From MBR-Main Balancing Reservoir (gravity flow) and WTP-Water Treatment Plant
Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Quality control in Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic Pipes(FRP) and fitting.
Incoming Inspection of raw material (roving, resins, surface mat, csm and etc.)
In process Inspection of liner preparation, winding, curing and extraction of pipe, coupler, Air Valve fittings flanges and ‘Rekha’ ring
Inspection and approval of hydrostatic testing & destructive testing (Axial Tensile Strength, Hoop Tensile Strength, Stiffness and Loss On Ignition) of FRP
Inspection of FRP using standards such as IS12709, BS5480 & AWWA-C950
Final Inspection and Preparation of QA/QC documents.

Site Responsibilities:
Erection and testing of FRP pipes.
Preparation of documents with respect to chainage of drawings.
Preparation of Daily Progress Report and Material status about excavation, bedding (sand) level, fitting of pipes, bends & coupler, seating of Rekha Ring, air valves, thrust block (PCC & RCC) and packing.
Inspection of Hydrostatic tests for laid pipes.
