This project focused on determination of virtual effect on the properties of film made from virgin LDPE material and varying combinations with recycled material. In order for us as a group of four persons to come to a conclusion we had to focus on properties, applications, characteristics, processing and synthesis, advantages and disadvantages and the most important part that is the experimental work of running the extruder with various combinations of virgin and recycled LDPE and analyzing that which is those combination that will give optimum product property and how it will affect the choice of material, selection of process parameters as well as the processing conditions.

This was basically a study project concentrating on the importance of use of those plastics which are biodegradable and most importantly follows the principle of reduce, reuse and recycle for effective utilization of resources available to mankind.
