Presently working with leading player in the Telecom and Power Sector manufacturing Optical Fibre Cables, Power Cables, Telecommunication grade FRP rods, CDMA Equipments, etc.
Role:
Spearheading entire process of the preventive & breakdown maintenance activities for all plants with maintenance team for OFC Plant, FRP Plant, CDMA Plant and Power Cable Plant.
Executing analysis, design & execution for the Process machines modification and up-gradation as per requirement of process and production department.
Monitoring New Plant Machines set up for FRP Rods manufacturing by Pultrusion Process.
Handling techno-commercial activities including vender/ contractor development, carrying technical discussions, deciding financial aspects and negotiations, finalizing delivery schedules for Plant capital items, Production machines and equipments.
Planning & finalizing the monthly & yearly budget for maintenance spares, consumables and process machines & equipments for future development.
Maintaining, developing and keeping records for all types of documents pertaining to maintenance and ISO 9001 & 1400, etc. Achievements:
Set up and started the new plant for manufacturing of FRP Rods by Pultrusion technology.
Executed the purchasing, installation and commissioning of manufacturing machines, toolings, quality equipments, raw material and utilities.
Started the process and production trials and achieved the successful production of 0.8mm to 3.5mm FRP rods for use of telecommunication cables. (Apr’06–Dec’06).
Executed the Sheathing line (for OFC production) installation and commissioning works consisting of main parts:
Payoff, 65mm Extruder, Caterpillar and Take up.
The complete heating control panel for the extruder and Drives control panel was in-house built and commissioned successfully. (Dec’05-Feb’06).
Completed the re-commissioning works for Frisch make Stranding Line control panel with Siemens switchgears, Drives and S-7 PLC. Carried out the complete field and Panel wiring works in-house, set up the drive parameters with motor trials and programming of Siemens S-7 PLC with Siemens system house. (Jun’06-Jul’06).
Designed, procured, installed and commissioned L.T. Panels, Power Distribution Panels, 380 KVA D.G. Set and Changeover Panels for different plants (OFC Plant, FRP Plant, CDMA Plant & Power Cable Plant). Jan’06-Feb’06.
Set up the new plant for manufacturing and assembling the Telecom equipments and accessories for supplying to BSNL.
Installation and commissioning of Assembly lines, Environmental Chambers, DG sets, L T Panel, Air compressor, Air conditioners and other utilities. Executed the all civil and interior works with different contractors for completion of the project work. (Aug’07 –Jan’08).
Increased the production capacity of OFC plant by installation and commissioning of one Secondary Coating line and one 65mm Extruder Sheathing line. To meet the power requirement of all plants installed and commissioned the 750 KVA Transformer Sub Station. (Feb’08–Apr’08).

Steering initiatives towards Plant Re-lay outing of Plant machineries to enhance the capacity.
Commissioning, installation & erection for all types of Plant machinery & utilities.
Preparing budget for New Technology requirement, Spare Parts, Electrical Power & Fuel and consumables.
Achieving in-house maintenance for all utilities like Nitrogen plant, Chillers & compressors, DG Set.

Executed installation & commissioning of Nitrogen Gas Plant, Water Chillers, Water Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, Centralized Air Conditioning system, Water Softening plant. (2000-2001).
Handled erection, commissioning & got approval from CEA Delhi for 1000 KVA, 500 KVA & 380 KVA DG Sets plus Commissioning of 1000 KVA & 1500 KVA Transformers, 400 x 4 KVA Tata-Liebert UPS System with Battery Bank, APFC Panels, L. T. Panels, 11 KV Substation and VCB. (2001-2002).
Oversaw the Re layout of Sterlite, OFC Silvassa plant & Machineries towards sequential process flow, it included the re-commissioning of all process machines as per new plant lay out. (2004-2005).
