Sales and Marketing
Since June 2007 till date working as Sales & Marketing Manager (All India Bases) for a reputed leading company at Pune manufacturing PET processing Machinery. I was trained in Switzerland for 12 days in their parent plant.
From April 2006 till June 2007 worked as General Manager - Sales with a well established Mumbai based Pvt. Ltd Company which represent several reputed European American and South East Asian Manufacturers towards their plants & machinery in India in the field of Automobile Steel Sugar Pharmaceutical Chemical & Plastic Machinery. My divison is responsible for all India Sales Promotion of Plastic Processing Machinery (such as Injection Molding Blow Molding Injection Blow Molding Machines Extrusion Lines etc. )as well as Alumium Extrusion Profiles available from Import from reputed European & Korean Manufacturers. I was trained in South Korea for such machines.
From August 2002 till March 2006 worked as a Senior Sales Manager with ASB INTERNATIONAL PVT.LTD (MNC Japanese company) having world – class plant to manufacture Plastic (PET) Processing Machinery in the outskirts of Mumbai. They are the global leaders in their technology having sales & service network in 82 countries. I was responsible for the sales in the entire Western Region with base at Mumbai.
From 1996 – 2001 I worked as a Sales Manager in Mumbai office of 3 Billion US $ Danish MNC known as EAST ASIATIC Company (EAC). EAC had acquired various reputed overseas agencies in India and wanted an addition of Packaging Machinery Division. I was appointed with a view to commence the marketing operations of Packaging Machinery Division. I was quite successful in getting agencies of reputed overseas companies in India which resulted in successfully marketing of various Packaging Machinery to MNC companies
Our Principals were essentially based in USA Europe & Japan. During 1996 I was deputed to EAC’s Singapore and Malaysia office for two weeks orientation programme. I was also quite instrumental in assisting my top management for certain new projects they wanted to launch in India.
From 1994 – 1996 I worked as a Senior Sales Executive with Alfa Laval India Ltd Mumbai (Indian arm of 9 Billion US $ TETRA PAK OF SWEDEN)I was responsible for developing/promoting PET Processing Machinery in India manufactured by their Swiss subsidiary DYNA PLAST. I was also actively engaged in executing prestigious order received from USSR for the mineral water project.
From 1991 – 1994 I worked as a Senior Sales Executive with the one of the top most prestigious group of India known as “MAFATLAL GROUP”. I was employed in one of their group company namely Padmatex Engineering Limited Mumbai with a view to commence the activities of a new division which was basically formed to represent Fortune 500 company of USA on exclusive basis in the field of Flexible Packaging Machinery.
I was deputed to USA for three weeks technical training in the manufacturing works of our Principals and to attend the PACK EXPO’92 (One of largest international Packaging Machinery fair)
From 1989 – 1991 I worked as a Senior Sales Executive with Mather + Platt (India) Ltd Mumbai (Part of 2 Billion US $ JUMBO GROUP OF DUBAI). I was responsible for marketing Filling & Packaging Lines made by the company at their state-of-the-art plant in line with design of Mather + Platt - U.K. The Filling and Packaging lines were basically marketed to Food Pharma Cosmetic & Oil companies.I was also deputed to C F T R I (Central Institute of Food Technology & Research Institute) Mysore for one week training covering various aspects of “PACKAGING OF PROCESSED FOODS”.
From 1979 – 1989 I worked with a prestigious engineering company M/s. SLM – Maneklal Ind. Ltd. Mumbai engaged in manufacturing various kind of Capital Equipments and also representing the interest of several reputed overseas companies in India.
For the first 6 years I was employed as a Sales Engineer in their “German Agency Division” marketing various capital equipments. In India such as Plastic Processing Rubber Processing Can Making & Polyurethane Processing Machinery as well as High Press. Extraction
Plant from Swiss. During 1983 I was deputed to Germany for one month technical training in manufacturing works of our Principals.
For the next 3.5 years I was actively engaged in marketing Plastic Processing Machinery which were manufactured indigenously in technical collaboration with reputed oversea
