Project management:
Prepared detailed project report, obtained go-ahead from board and secured all mandatory approvals from Govt. Authorities.
Structured process / Engg. Flow diagrams delineated technical specifications of the process equipments, identified potential vendors and driven procurement initiatives from domestic sources and imports.
Conducted technical and commercial evaluation of offers and concluded supply contracts with details of inspection procedure / performance guarantee. Carried out inspection at vendors workshop and arranged installation of equipments.
Checked and released drawings and materials for piping to initiate procurement. Responsible for debottlenecking project independently. The process involved monitoring of process parameters, equipment running condition, quality parameters carefully. A shell and tube heat exchanger was redesigned to give higher out put temperature and flow of Lactam. The steam inlet lines were changed to 12 Kg / cm2g steam (IBR approved).
