JOB PROFILE

In charge to both Electrical, Mechanical repair and maintenance activities of the plant including the utilities such as generators, compressors, transformers HT/LT systems, material handling equipment etc.
Reporting to VP-Operations .The reporting team strength is 30, including shift engineers, mechanical & electrical technicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Clearing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical break downs of the machines and equipment's.
Daily inspection of machines, equipment's using check sheets.
Conduct Preventive maintenance on Sundays and holidays.
Address problems with machines leading to product quality problems, in consultation with HOD
Prepare and Analysis data on down time, repair and maintenance cost and cost of power. Take initiatives to reduce them, in association with HOD.
Routine inspection and maintenance of generators, compressors, transformers and other utilities based on check sheets. Maintain them healthy by timely servicing and repair.
Preparation and updation of list of critical spares and consumables for machines and utilities. Monitor its consumption rate. Set minimum stock level for spares and consumables based its consumption data.
Spare parts indenting, receipt inspection and its stock maintenance. Vendor and in house development of parts and spares.
Ensure that all the maintenance team members are strictly following the safety requirements at work, to avoid any on job accidents.
Maintain 5S of the maintenance and utilities area. Work for betterment of plant 5S.
Work for improvement activities such as lay out and work flow improvement, up gradation of machines and equipment, betterment of 5S facilities, etc.
