Job Description:

1) Create sustainable competitive advantage for the organization by leveraging procurement spend and the expertise of key suppliers to meet organization`s needs

2) Reduce total cost and mitigate supply-related risks

3) Standardizing and streamlining the sourcing, purchasing

4) Vendor Development/vendor management.

5) Indigenization and Import substitution

6) Cost optimization/Control & monitoring-
7) ERP Implementation

8) Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
9) Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
10) Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
11) Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
12) Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
13) Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
14) Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
15) Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.
