Interplast Co. Ltd., UAE; It is one of biggest Plastic Products Manufacturing Company in the Gulf Region. Manufactures wide range of plastic products like pipes, conduits, plastic disposable products for food packaging industries, PE, PVC films, luxury bags, electrical accessories.
Job Responsibilities:-
Distinction in managing the overall production operations of Extrusion, Thermoforming and Printing and ensuring optimisation of resources, testing activities, process improvements, quality assurance.
Handling strength of 300 personnel. Reporting to General Manager and Plant Manager.
Major strategies formulated & implemented including Non Conformance Report System incorporated between the departments of extrusion, thermoforming and printing thus ensuring the strict quality control.
Processes developed and implemented for solving critical issues like PET Extrusion Process developed with existing machinery to adapt PET processing with complete modification. The issues like dehumidification and preheating of PET process are solved by fabricating inhouse machinery.
Material cost reduction by sourcing different raw materials and suppliers, machinery cost reductions done by modifying the machinery according and making in-house components for the machinery, instead of procuring out.
Extrusion process improved after a strenuous research in the modification of machinery. Nearly 20 % of reductions in defects and rejections.
Due to the storage and despatch difficulties, plant layout were improved thereby “first in first out” technique was implemented.
Projects undertaken across the tenure with the organisation like handled new installations of Extrusion (PS,PP & PET extruders) and thermoformers , Printers undertaken to cope up market demand of products.
Successfully completed 10 year’s with the company and bagged Appreciation Certificate from the company for the dedicated service.
