Job Description

Identify and actively search for new business leads and approach new customers from the injection moulding / blow moulding / rotomoulding / extrusion / woven sacks / automotive industries
Willingness to Travel 10-12 days in a Month (Must be willing to travel the region to meet with customers and potential leads)
Frequently travel to customer site / plant and identify opportunities
Maintain good relations with key personnel in purchasing and technical department of companies
Interact with the R & D team to develop colors for the new leads
Maintain a computerized business lead register and frequently update marketing status in it
Prepare monthly sales report, ISO reports and track self performance
Follow up on payments
Identifying and actively search for new prospects, analyzing sales potential and work out sales activities
Maintain good relations with key personnel in purchasing and technical department of companies

A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in selling Masterbatches
Must have good a reputation and contacts in the masterbatch industry
Strong knowledge of Masterbatches, Additives, Pigments and Compounds
Bachelors degree in Chemistry / Polymer Engineering with an MBA or diploma in Business Management
CIPET / IPI candidates need apply only if prior work experience in the same industry is greater than 4 years
Advanced level of computer skills
Knowledge of MS Office software is a must
Must be able to communicate on email with customers and colleagues within the organization
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English and Hindi
Must be willing to travel the country over night to meet with customers and potential leads
Confident negotiator and ability to close the right type of business at the highest levels
A proven track record in delivering against personal and team sales revenue objectives
An ability to represent the company at the highest level to clients and agencies
Experience in product development and contributing to pricing policy discussions
A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people
